Yesterday, free speech supporters from around the world gathered in London to demand the release of Julian Assange, a political prisoner being held in Belmarsh prison in the UK for almost 5 years. Full Video at end of story. Below is Julian’s father John Shipton taking video of us:
The U.S. is seeking to extradite him for publishing proof of war crimes being committed in Afghanistan, that Saudi Arabia was funding ISIS while contributing to the Clinton Foundation, and other materials from whistleblowers from over 73 countries. People like Edward Snowden, who revealed the massive NSA surveillance state in 2013 which has now grown into a totalitarian level of spying, particularly on the political opponents of people in power.
WCMC was at the rally and
supports the immediate release of Julian Assange.
