Glenn Grothman Drives Job Creation in the Mining Industry

During a recent visit to Mellen, WI, ground zero for a proposed mountain top removal project in which a 1,000 foot deep, 4.5 mile long open pit mine is proposed, Sen. Glenn Grothman visited with 5th generation farmers at the O’Dovero-Flesia farm across the road from the proposed mine site. In answer to their concerns about their 150 foot deep well draining into the open pit, Grothman commented that the mining company could probably just caulk any leak in the bedrock. Click here for the story and video of the family recounting his visit.
