Eagle Scout Scott Walker Doesn’t Know How to Fold American Flag

July 19, 2015  By Jason Huberty

Scott Walker bragged on the campaign trail about folding the American flag like he learned as a Boy Scout. In fact, Walker screwed up on step 2, as can be seen in the screenshot image taken from the Boy Scouts of America website. The field of stars should remain visible on both sides after the second fold. Walker’s flag isn’t simply upside-down. It’s folded wrong.

Walker’s folding error won’t likely be of significance to voters as he continues on his quest to be president. They should be concerned however about the number of body bags with properly folded flags a Walker presidency might send home given his heated rhetoric calling for military action against global Islamic terrorism, China, and Russia. Let’s hope for everyone’s sake if he wins that President Walker doesn’t fight them the way he did peaceful singers in Wisconsin’s State Capitol, by losing.

Probably cheated his way through Eagle Scouts, too.

It’s not his fault. A staffer gave him the wrong drugs that morning.

Does the video disagree with BSA instruction #3? Instruction #3 shows first triangle fold left to right, Video at 0:58 shows first fold right to left. I was taught the method shown in the video, “fold first toward your heart”, but I think BSA instruction shows differently.
