Cheesehead Hat Maker Honored by Wisconsin Assembly

Ralph Bruno, the creator of Wisconsin’s beloved “Cheesehead Hat” was honored by the Wisconsin Assembly today.

Bruno created his first hat in 1987 using stuffing he carved from his family’s sofa. The hats are made by Foamation Inc. in Milwaukee and are sold worldwide. Foamation’s employees were also honored in the Assembly resolution.
