The woman being arrested in the video, AFSCME Assistant Director Jana Weaver, had this to say about the Solidarity Sing Along: “The SSA has a special spot in my heart. I was by no means an every day singer but when my schedule would allow, I would stop down, sing and then go on with my work day, it always made me feel better… I represent state employees with AFSCME, and the loss of workers rights has had an absolutely devastating effect on many state employees. I had no choice but to stand with my brothers and sisters. Solidarity!”
