On July 27, a group of Minnesota State Legislators sent a letter to the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency asking them to temporarily suspend the Section 401 certification and demand that Enbridge halt all drilling along Line 3 after nine separate incidents of toxic chemicals being release into the waters all across the line.

On August 1, Winona LaDuke sat down with four of them to discuss the danger that Enbridge is posing to northern Minnesota. Sen. Jen McEwan (7), Sen. Mary Kunesh (41), Rep. Frank Hornstein (61A) and Rep. Todd Lippert (20B) talk about Line 3 at Shell City Campground.
