LCO and Sawyer County Democrats pass No SB386/AB426 Resolution; Send to Bewley and Meyers

On September 25, the Democratic Party of Sawyer County and the LCO Reservation of Wisconsin passed a resolution to oppose SB386/AB426, the Anti-Protesting bill written by a lobbyist for the American Petroleum Institute (API) and currently being co-sponsored by five Wisconsin Democrats: Senators Janet Bewley (D-Mason) and Patty Schachtner (D – Somerset), and Reps. Don Vruwink (D – Milton), Christine Sinicki (D – Milwaukee) and Jason Fields (D – Milwaukee).

Bewley will be appearing at the Chequamegon Democrats meeting October 26, noon, at the Southside Taproom, 532 West Bayfield Street, Washburn, WI. Please attend if you can and lend your support to rejecting this corporate Republican legislation that threatens to give Enbridge and corporations like them much more power than they have now.
