,On April 15, 2021 Herbster residents Kristle Majchrzak and her father Robert Glau were denied a conditional use permit (CUP) to bottle and sell water from a well on their land near Lake Superior. The permit was denied after the couple received no public support from any of the citizens and organizations who testified and wrote in to voice their objections.

The couple is appealing the decision, bringing legal representation and saying they have new evidence. They come before the Board of Adjustment Thursday, July 29, at 9 AM at the Bayfield County Courthouse. Click here for the agenda.

Please contact the Board of Appeals members and respectfully remind them that Lake Superior is not for sale and to deny their requests.
